When I was diagnosed with cancer, it was my mortgage insurance that gave me & my family the coverage I needed to focus on my health journey and not worry about my mortgage payment.  We would have lost the house if I didn't have it.  Thankfully I am cancer free and still have our home!

We changed from Bank Mortgage Insurance to Individual Mortgage Insurance
because we wanted to control our plan. 
We had to renew our mortgage and didn't have to reapply for the mortgage insurance, it just carried on with out interruption.
